who studies how human activities impact the functioning of aquatic ecosystems. I am particularly interested in plastic pollution, as well as in carbon and nutrient dynamics. In my research, I combine a broad range of analytical and numerical techniques at the intersection of biogeochemistry, microbiology and oceanography. I also enjoy and actively engage in science communication and environmental consulting.
