I am a Swiss ocean scientist turned entrepreneur and founder of Empaqtify. My work sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and capital, with a focus on turning complex environmental and societal challenges into clear, decision relevant action.
I am particularly interested in how systems evolve and how they can be steered toward better outcomes. In practice, this means working where evidence meets decision making, and where ideas move from theory into implementation.
Over the years, I have worked across research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through Empaqtify, I bring this perspective into practice by supporting mission driven startups, scaleups, and investors in making impact measurable, strategic, and investable.
I do not see impact as a reporting exercise or a communication layer. For me, it is a design question: what are we trying to change, how do we know it is happening, and what does meaningful progress actually look like? I work with leadership teams to bring clarity to these questions and to build approaches that are grounded, rigorous, and usable in real decisions.
Alongside this work, I contribute to peer reviewed research and engage with international academic and practitioner communities. Staying close to both worlds ensures that the work remains evidence based while being practical in application.
I am particularly drawn to the Blue Economy and infrastructure systems, where environmental integrity, innovation, and long term development intersect.
If you are building or investing in solutions and want to make impact a core part of your strategy, feel free to get in touch.
